The Corona virus (COVID-19) has a huge impact on our society. The measures and guidelines issued by the Dutch RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) result in immediate changes in daily life and work. Obviously, the priority is the welfare of our colleagues, our families and friends and our customers and suppliers. The impact on the green industry is huge; daily we read reports on flowers and plants that are thrown away which impacts the growers and all related businesses incredibly hard. The Desch production at all four locations is still running but of course we are also affected by a higher sick rate than usual so we have to adapt our production accordingly. Most office and sales staff do work from home and are available by phone and email. We continue to do our utmost to give you the best possible service level but ask you for your cooperation and understanding for possible delays. Supply of products from stock is much easier than products that still have to be made.
