What you need.
A (kamado) BBQ with lid and pizza stone
A BBQ glove
Pizza server
Large wooden board
Possibly a pizza roller
Ingredients
Ready-made dough balls (thaw if necessary)
Tomato pulp
Red onion rings
Anchovies
Cherry tomatoes (optional)
Mozzarella
Burrata
Fresh basil
Olive oil
Flour for the board
Preparation method
If you use ready-made dough balls from the freezer, thaw them according to the instructions long enough before preparation.
Light the BBQ and bring the temperature to 300 to 350 degrees. Prepare the BBQ to use indirect heat. Place the pizza stone on it in time for it to heat up properly.
Sprinkle flour on the wooden board and roll out the dough balls.
Brush the pizza with tomato pulp. Don't use too much!
Top the pizza with some onion rings, anchovies, mozzarella and burrata.
Carefully slide the pizza onto the pizza scoop and place the pizza on the hot pizza stone.
Bake the pizza for 5 to 7 minutes.
Remove the baked pizza from the pizza stone with the scoop and place it on another wooden board.
Pour a dash of olive oil over the pizza and sprinkle the pizza with basil leaves.
Cut the pizza is points with the pizza roller.
Besides basil, you can of course use thyme or other herbs. Want fresh tomato on your pizza? Then put halved cherry tomatoes on your pizza.Enjoy!
